Flavor, Fragrance and Odor Simulator (FFOS)- Software for Prediction of Fragrance, Flavor and Odor Thresholds-

Odor thresholds are predicted from the FFOS model. The model is based on geometric, molecular, dynamical and thermodynamic factors that influence molecular properties on interaction with the odor receptors.
The model only requires input of the molecule as an energy minimized structure provided in the program, boiling point and density if available, otherwise these properties are also calculated in the program. The output is an odor threshold value given as a minimum and maximum range of values. The values are given both in air and liquid.

A Chemist and Chemical Engineer. Through my interest in mathematics and mathematical modeling I developed a molecular model for the sense of smell leading to a program for the calculation of odor thresholds from molecular structure. The Perrin Chalkboard was written to explore integer sequences and their patterns.
